Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

Well...going by the info gathered here, cross referencing with other pics...and the seller's guaranteed authenticity, or my money back, I made a couple of offers and it was finally excepted. Thanks for the info and enlightening my Oakley knowledge.

Rarely do I post here but this one has me wondering a bit..... OEM or aftermarket lens? Its a New Straight Jacket and from what I can find and remember they never produced a ruby polar lens for this pair, even in replacement lenses. Also the script looks off to me....

Discuss....

This isnt the first gen SJ, its the NSJ as mentioned in the original post.

yeah I found out the hard wat on SJ's cough cough Lol

but I have seen aftermarlet lenses with the "polarized" etching sold on Ebay, the only difference is that with Oakley Polars, they are usually thick lenses and at times Z87 amsi, with the aftermarket etched lenses, they are like .8mm thin as opposed to the regular 1.6mm lenses from Oakley.
but watta ya think Greg? are those legit? maybe frames but not lenses?

try tilting your head and look at it and it looks right Lol
vut yeah I believe that's aftermarket lenses.
on a side note, I know a Oakley dealer whos elling Monster Pups with Fire iridium lenses and I do believe they are MPH

The etching is way off, but OCP has font options for the text.... I don't have a NSJ to compare to, but I'd look hard at the mold line of the top of the frame as it comes into the hinge - it looks as though the frame has a dip in it, and I don't recall mold lines like that.
