Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

I wonder if fake Juliet's end up with a loose nose ??
The fake has screws so the coupler can be force to tighten but in a limited capability. Fake are always loose, no rubber gasket but in case there was, it is a very very thin piece cheap rubber only, almost instantly degrading. I am lucky to get my hands on one of those nicely copied fake juliet that I was able to dissect in the past and was able to learn enough to differentiate it from authentic juliet.

Damn me for not spotting a fake, but damn an Oakley store in Colombia for not spotting it either. I have the guy's name, phone, and address, so hopefully I will be able to get the money back. At least I didn't pay too much for them .... I thought the screws on the nosebridge had been a cheap fix of a loose nosebridge. What threw me off was that I had never seen a fake with hammerstems, the colors of 24K not very popular so why fake a 24K, and the correct SKU on the left stem, but didn't notice a little further to the right that the hinge looks totally wrong. SOB. Does anybody have an SKUd XX 24K who can show me how the SKU looks on the stem? Any further opinions as to this being a fake or not would be appreciated
Thanks

Yeah those are total fakes.

Screws in the nosebridge is always, and often the best, indicator of a fake.

Aside from what's been mentioned and other minor details like the rubber, what really jumps out is the finish, much too shiny. And the lenses, real 24K lenses have a contrast base tint.

24K XX were fairly popular when they first came out. At the time, the lens cracking problem with R1 was happening a lot and Oakley was offering people the option to trade in their R1 for another x-metal of their choice, many chose the 24K XX... suckers.

Amazing? Kids work at Oakley stores now don't even know what metals are.

You say to them "X-Metal" and they will show you a Badman or Madman. What a joke
I had that exact thing happen to me. I tried asking if they have any old stock x-metals or x-metal parts, boxes, etc. and she looked at me funny and grabbed a Badman. She then told me there are no old x-metals because they have only been out for 1 year. I just thanked her for her time :cool-33:

EXACTLY!!!

Kind off topic but when you start buying polish Holbrook frames be prepared for the scratch mark you get by the dots!! All frames come pre-scratched with that nasty mark on them from production, When glasses are 100 or less I'm a lot less picky about thing!!

Just looked at all of mine and Don't see any of those marks. That is really strange. I even just bought the new Steel with grey polarized that came out just recently and still no mark like that.

These flaks look totally the same as my others but, don't have an sku. Is that normal?
