Check out this Ebay link..... They SEEM legit but when you read at the very bottom of the listing it mentions Chinese shipping, even thought the seller is in Alabama.

Looking for Juliet experts on this one, specifically those who know more about Japan exclusives than I do.

I was really wanting to bid on this pair but decided not to because I couldn't get over the feeling that something wasn't right. Its a polished frame but no hammer stems. The frame and lens combo isn't listed on Oreview. Opinions? Anyone care to educate me?

As far as I know HI Yellow was never offered in a Juliet.
Also some of the pics look almost like plasma not polished.
So I think it sold for to much being just a frame with 2 sets of lenses. Maybe @Dyeraudio or @Carrera1963 could shine more light on this pair.

As far as I know HI Yellow was never offered in a Juliet.
Also some of the pics look almost like plasma not polished.
So I think it sold for to much being just a frame with 2 sets of lenses. Maybe @Dyeraudio or @Carrera1963 could shine more light on this pair.

I saw this after the fact but, FWIW, yes, that looks like a plasma frame that may or may not have been hand polished a bit. And those HI yellow lenses are either cuts or aftermarket.

I didn't post it until the auction closed because I was thinking about bidding. There were just too many unknowns so I didn't end up bidding. They don't look like fakes but they don't match their description as advertised either so I passed. Decided to look locally for some fishing glasses instead.

Don't think there's any more light to be shone, reckon you nailed it already @Cargo. Never seen a non-custom pair offered with HI Yellow, including when checking in Japan.

I have some HI Yellow but they appear to have been cut by chainsaw and don't remotely fit in a Juliet. Not my best eBay purchase, that one...

Not sure if these are legit or not. They look a bit off in the photos to me. Mostly just the finish of gold. If they are real seems like a fair price.
