Seems legit but can't be sure 100%, based on the pics, the signs are blurry, anyway sign to look at are:
-fake earstem end tip is curved, instead of straight, earstem width is also smaller for fake
-fake has screws on coupler instead of rivets
-fake screw size is not torx t6
-fake jet intake hole is different, a bit tricky when no authentic to compare at
-fake temple shox rubber is different, again a bit tricky without an authentic one to compare

There's more, but better pic will help

Bonjour,

Last week I went into an Oakley's store to look on replacement lenses. The guy there looked for a serial or model number on my sunglasses, but couldn't find any. I'm now wondering if they could be fake.

I got them used for 80$ (lightly scratched) from an individual seller. They came without the original case, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me as my sunglasses's budget was busted (I forgot my two last pairs behind me and, when I went back for them, they had mysteriously disappeared).

They are supposed to be Polarized Dart sunglasses.

Thanks :)

Thanks a lot!
You're right, they did not have any replacement lenses in store.

What's the difference between the new and older model?
Its just been discontinued for a while so they wouldnt stock the lenses in a store. If you call the main number in CA they may be able to find a pair or just watch ebay or on here for a nicer pair to replace them with.

What do you mean by ''a nicer pair''? Hahaha
It's not 'cause they are getting older that they necessarily need to be replaced.. lol

Replacement lenses are still available online on Oakley's website. I wasn't sure if there was different models of Darts because you said mine was an older model. If they are all the same, I'll just order online. I, then, just need to decide on which of the tints I want to get (Is there a huge difference between gray polarized and gray... excluding the fact that one is polarized and not the other?). Thanks again :)

I believe all of the Darts are the same as far as the fit of the lens. I just meant maybe it would be cheaper to find a pair with a good lens on ebay vs buying a new lens only. Shield lenses can get pretty expensive if I remember correctly but I didnt look this model up. It looked as if the finish was flaking off the front from years of use, maybe not in the best conditions. The beach and sweat can kill lenses pretty quick if not properly taken care of. I dont really own any grey lenses so I can say on that.

Nope. The polarisation knocks a point off of the light transmission, but you'll not really notice that in wearing.
