Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

They are real, nasty dirty, but real.
hah, what are they called? why dont they have the type on the arm like most do
i said we just found them...in a bucket with a bunch of other odds and ends. they are in good shape, just need a good cleaning.

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a Juliet XM, and got it tuned up at Oakley last week. I listed them for sale in the exchange and also on eBay. Someone in ebay send me a message saying that they were fake, but there's nothing that tells me that they are. Plus I doubt that Oakley would have tuned them up if they were fake anyway. But I would like to get the extra assurance that these are not fake. No serial and no SKU. All the pictures are of the same frame but with different lenses. Thanks

Look good to me. Usually on Juliet the earstems flare out at the tips

Hi guys, I've just bought a pair of 6016-2's new Square Wire online (eBay) and wasn't sure if they were genuine or fake. I've attached the link and a few more photos below.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Oakley-O...ectangle-Sunglasses-New-In-Box-/291575848436?

Main differences between these glasses and the retail ones (in Australia) are:
- Outer cardboard box doesn't have the standard Luxottica sticker/s.
- The Hard case is embossed slightly differently (Less indented to the retail pair here)
- The left side lens is missing a "Category 3" sticker. But that could be an Australian thing.
- The Australian 6016-2 retail model has no country of manufacture printed on either arm, whereas this pair has "Made in China" printed on the rubber sleeve. Some US models do appear to have "China" printed on the metal, but that's different to "Made in China" on the rubber sleeve. I'm aware that Oakley does manufacture in China now, but why print the same 6016-2 pair three different ways? "Made in China", "China" and *Blank* (with no country listed) all for the identical 6016-2 model? Strange, but I'd love to know why!

No doubt they're fine, but thought I'd ask just in case. The main anomaly is the cardboard box, the embossed case and the three different possible ways of listing place of manufacture for the exact same model code. I would normally buy retail, but these were AUD $180 less than in store down here. Hard to resist.

I appreciate the help. Any comments are welcomed!

Here are some pictures of a Square Wire that I sold a month ago. Yours look legit, but not sure about the "Made in China" and the way that Square Wire is written.

Cheers. Yeah, I think the "Square Wire" writing is correct for the Ti-titanium models like the 6016's. Looked identical, or bloody close to the ones in my local store. But like you say, the "Made in China" printed on the rubber temple/arm sleeve is really strange. The store pair didn't have any country of manufacture written on it - just left blank. I also haven't seen a cardboard box without the correct stickers.

Would like some help verifying the authenticity of my Oakleys. Juliet Polished Frame Fire Iridium Polarized Lenses. Bought them on ebay from what I believe to a reputable seller a while ago. There is no serial number though. The "Polarized" is etched into the lens and "Made in USA" is in raised letter on the ear guards.
