Well I can say I dont think there was ever a color combination like that. There was a Jet Black/Ruby but Jet black is the equivalent to Polished Black. This would have been standard "Black".
I dont have any Minutes out right now to check but you are correct, that feature on the arms seems weird. I looked around a bit and found one other 2nd gen pair with that feature. No others that I saw had it.

These are 1st Generation, note the Jet Intake Port Icon(an inverse 'O').
The reason I ask is the lenses and frames have an appearance of FAKE to me. As per the Ukrainian Rip Off machines FAKES.
