Official Fakes/Possible Fakes Inquiry Thread (ARE THESE FAKE? POST FAKES HERE)

That is exactly how this seller is acting. Oh well, maybe someone else will have better luck.

They aren't fakes; it just sounds like he's lazy, doesn't want to jump through a lot of hoops. Buy them or don't; somebody will eventually.

I tried to buy but can't if he won't reply (its not eBay). I sent the link to someone more local (forum member) so hopefully he will snag them. Price is certainly right.

I wonder if fake Juliet's end up with a loose nose ??

Yes they do, I have a fake pair hidden away and it was loose when it was "new".

I was confused between plasma and x-metal too. I asked about serial number as well but no luck with an answer.

I'd bet x-metal. The pins look like the are x-metal not polished like a typical plasma. Just a guess from that fuzzy pic.

Hey guys sorry to open this back up ,but I went and purchased the same exact matte blacks from sunglass hut for 130 and still see this lol it doesn't bother me but I think it's how they are molded.purchased in the plastic brand new first to open them.also very hard to see from the naked eye,the left side has the same 2 light scratches but one is higher then the other in location.I found them holding them up to the sun.

THE TOP ARE FROM SUNGLASS HUT,BOTTOM FROM EBAY.

Strange. The mark doesn't look nearly as bad in these pictures compared to the original post. Still, there shouldn't be any marks on brand new sunglasses, especially considering retail prices I see at SGH here. Looks like quality control is slipping.

I concur. Very strange.

There is one thing though. Buying them at SGH at least he can be sure they're real.
